Growing up in West Africa, Lethicia, the founder of Ladoni, witnessed women in her community practice ancestral beauty rituals, using plant oils, extracts, and butters to care for their skin and hair. These beauty traditions passed down through generations thought her the value of self-care and connection.
Years later, after moving to Canada and being diagnosed with PCOS, she struggled to find effective skincare that truly nourished her dry, irritated, and hormonally imbalanced skin. Frustrated by the lack of transparency and quality in mainstream brands, she set out to create something better —products that were safe, high-performing, and genuinely nurturing. With the belief that skincare should be kind and an act of self-care, not just another step in a routine, she pursued a certification in Organic Skincare Formulation.
