With over a decade of experience in change management, she specializes in employee engagement and creating inclusive workplace cultures. Passionate about people-first strategies, Hannah is also pursuing a PhD in Work Psychology, focusing on leadership behavior and workplace well-being to drive sustainable growth and build thriving organizations. The Early Milestones of Lead Well
Launching a business is always a challenge, and Lead Well faced its share of hurdles in the early stages. From securing clients to balancing delivery and growth, the journey was anything but smooth. However, with courage and a clear focus on values and delivering a first-class experience for clients, Hannah and her growing team made key breakthroughs. Significant milestones, such as securing their goal of £100k turnover in Year 1, demonstrated the effectiveness of Lead Well’s offer and ability to deliver outcomes for their clients. These early successes helped establish Lead Well’s trusted reputation, and a foundation for future growth and impact.
Innovative Leadership Solutions Fuel Lead Well’s Growth
As demand for Lead Well’s expertise grew, Hannah began exploring approaches to building a flexible team, while maintaining high quality outcomes. Inspired by Paul Jarvis’ Company of One, Hannah set about looking for people whose skill sets complemented her own, whose values aligned with those of Lead Well and for whom traditional full-time employment was not right for their lifestyles. This phase of growth was powered by strategic partnerships, a commitment to inclusive leadership, and increasing market demand, positioning Lead Well as a key player in driving workplace transformation and organizational change.
Lead Well’s Role in Transforming Communities
Beyond business success, Lead Well is deeply committed to making a positive impact on the community. To this end, Lead Well converted to a Social Enterprise and now donate 50% of their profits to causes that support wellbeing at work. Most notably, this has included contributing funding and expertise to a collaborative initiative to establish a mental health training programme for Park Rangers in Tanzania. The team also have a list of workshops that promote a sense of wellbeing and are run by local artists, nature-enthusiasts, musicians and makers, which Lead Well pay for and offer to their clients at free or discounted prices, to help bolster the local ‘wellbeing’ economy.
Hannah explains how much this means to her: ‘I’m delighted that my business is viable, and I’ve worked hard, but there’s a lot of luck that goes into this too, and if I can help others live their dreams too, then I will.’
